Large antique French earthenware bowl - in French, a Tian - that comes from the Southwest of France. With the characteristic yellow glaze, spout and two handles. Traditionally used in the making of dishes such as confit de canard or cassoulet. Also used for preserving foods and for collecting milk for cheese making. Now great for display on a large table or on the floor with or without content.
