Vintage French coffee bowl - café au lait bowl - called Bol. Used for drinking cofffee in the morning where one had a busy schedule and therefore the coffee had to cool down fast - hence the big surface. The earthenware bol has great patina as it was an item that was in everyday use. This on is in one of the classical series from Digoin.
