Vintage French coffee bowl - café au lait bowl - called Bol. Used for drinking cofffee in the morning where one had a busy schedule and therefore the coffee had to cool down fast - hence the big surface. The bol has great patina as it was an item that was in everyday use. This one was made as a promotion item for the French grocery store and supermarket chain Casino - originally founded in 1898.
